How do I bid for a project?
You can bid for a project once you have registered as an Alchemist.
You will be notified on postings that match your registered skills and Alchemist level. When you bid for a project, it will not allow you to bid lower than the estimated fee specified by the Seeker (this is to avoid candidates low balling on price). To add more value to the Seeker’s posting, your bid can include the following:

Suggest and amend the milestones and their respective % of completion to reflect your knowledge and experience based on the Seeker’s requirements

Once your bid is submitted, the Seeker can chat with you for further clarifications on your suggestions through our chat system to finalize your bid. You will be notified if your bid has been accepted by the Seeker.
To deposit an amount equal to or more than your estimated project fee into your wallet before the posting is confirmed (this is to ensure you have sufficient money for the project). In addition, you will need to craft credits from your wallet balance for each posting at a conversion rate of 5 credits for every US$1.00 (this is to avoid people from creating many projects at no costs). For Seekers who are under a subscription plan, there will be free credits for project postings and other features (see more on Subscription Plans in “What are the fees involved on this platform?”).
How to enter into a contest?
You can either search for a contest or be notified of a contest matching your skill and alchemist level. The contest details will show you the contest details including the contest period and the prize money. Once you decide this is of interest to you, you can enter the contest by submitting your contents, responses and attachments.
How do I know if payment is received?
We partner with Trustshare as our payment gateway processor. There is an initial ID verification process conducted by Trustshare to ensure the bank account details you input are valid. Once a Seeker has processed and released the payment into your account, you will receive a notification alert indicating the amount and date paid to you.
What do I get if I win a contest?
The winner will be determined and announced by the Seeker after reviewing all the contestants’ submissions. Winner takes all the prize money and will be awarded SBP together with the 1st & 2nd runner ups.

How are project payments made?
We use Trustshare as our payment gateway processor. There is an initial ID verification process conducted by Trustshare to ensure the bank account details you input are valid. You can go to Finance > Buy Craft Credit > Connect/Set Up Trust Share Account to begin this process. You can see here for more details on Trustshare:

Once your account is approved, you can process payments via bank transfer or credit card (this option is currently only available for EUR and GBP transactions up to £/€ 1,000) into Trustshare’s dedicated escrow account. This process might take up to 5 days depending on the country you are in. You will be notified by email once your payment arrives in the escrow account. You can then select release payment for it to be completely transferred to the Alchemist’s account. The released amount can be in full or in partial.
At the beginning of each project which has been agreed with more than one milestone, You are required to make a deposit into the Alchemist’s account equaling 20% of the total project fee. You can then make subsequent payments upon completion of each milestone according to the respective %. Generally, deliverables for the milestone are sent for preview by the Alchemist, once you have agreed to the previews, a request for payment will be sent to you.
How do I post a project?
You can post a project once you have registered as a Seeker.
You will need to write out your requirements in detail together with an estimated price and a delivery date. You will also need to indicate the desired skill set for the candidates (ie, back end programming, web design, etc.) and their levels (ie, apprentice, journeyman, master, etc.) which are critical to help effectively match your post to relevant Alchemists. You can also choose to break out your project into milestones by indicating the specific requirements and your desired % of completion for each milestone.

How do I create a contest?
You will need to write out your contest requirements and rules in detail together with the winning prize and entry deadline. You will need to have an amount equal to or more than your stated winning prize in your wallet before the contest can be created.
What are craft credits?
As a Seeker, credits can either be purchased separately or included as part of your subscription package. They are used for certain functions and activities such as posting a project, initiating a dispute arbitration panel and participating as arbiters in the panel.

What are the fees?
Transaction Fee
A transaction fee of 7% is collected from the Seeker on each payment for a project, with a minimum fee of US$7.00 on each transaction.
Credits
Credits are used to unlock many features and functions on the platform. They can be purchased by any user at a conversion rate of 5 credits for every US$1.00. Same transaction fee applies when purchasing credits.

How to complete a review?
Once a project is completed and payment is processed and released without dispute, both the Alchemist and Seeker will be asked to provide ratings for each other based on a given set of criteria. You are encouraged to provide an honest rating as this will help each other understand their strengths and weaknesses and foster further enhancements. Reviews and ratings will be visible to all community members.
Where are my points stored?
SBP, RP and SP for each user are calculated off-chain on the Alchemunity platform. On a regular basis, the updated point balances are sent to the xDai Mainnet blockchain network for secure safekeeping by deploying a specific set of smart contracts.
What can I do with my points?
You can convert your points to unlock many features and functions on the platform. Since any points you convert will reduce your accumulated point balance. In order to prevent this from affecting your earned points and level, we will keep track of both your lifetime accumulated balance and net balance so that the former will be the one shown to others at all times.
