How do Alchemists earn points?
You are incentivised to build out your skills and level up in order to unlock the many treasures including free promotion, titles and roles, best client list, next level projects and challenges, and even bragging rights! To do this, you’ll have to earn Skill Based Points (SBP) and Reputation Points (RP) through your social engagements and work activities. The best ways to a high score are to accumulate:
SBP by completing projects and winning contests
Extra SBP on consecutive wins or top placements on multiple contests
Even more SBP when you successively complete larger projects and receive great ratings from your clients on consecutive projects
RP when you receive many likes and upvotes on your posted contents

How do I bid for a project and negotiate with the Seeker during the bidding process?
Any posted projects with the skill requirements that match yours will be flashed to you. Seekers provide the detailed project requirements, their expected project price and completion time. They can also propose to break the projects into multiple milestones. You have the option to either accept their requirements as is, bid up on the price, bid down on the time, or change the milestone structure. You can chat with the Seeker as part of the bidding process and ask them to provide additional information and clarifications.
Here is a video showing you how to do this:
What do I do when my project bid is successful and I would like to begin the project?
You will be notified if the Seeker has selected you for the project and you have the option to accept or decline the offer. Once you have accepted the offer, the project will appear in your Project Tracker page and you can begin working on the project. Once you have completed the milestone, you can request for payment and upload both a preview version and a full final version of your deliverables where the final one will only be released to the Seeker once the milestone payment has been made.

How do I set up an account with Trustap to receive payment from Seekers via their escrow account?
For all project and contest payment transactions, we partner with Trustap, a payment processing service provider powered by Stripe, to provide secured escrow payment service for our users.
As an Alchemist, you do not need to pay any transaction fee as all such fees in Alchemunity are borne by the Seekers. You will need to do an initial registration with Trustap where they will verify your identification and your designated bank account for them to deposit any payments made to you via their secured escrow accounts.
Visit https://www.trustap.com/faq/ to find out more about Trustap.
Once your Trustap registration is successful, you will just need to press the Connect to Trustap button anytime you log into Alchemunity and you will be ready to receive the payments pending to be released to you.

How do I provide a rating and review for the Seeker when the project is completed?
After a milestone has been completed and paid, you are asked to provide a detailed review on the Seeker. You can either do it then or wait until the final project is completed. The review allows you to rank the Seeker in 5 categories and also lets you write a full review. The Seekers’ SP status will be updated based on your ratings and their profiles will show your full review.
Since you are also being reviewed by the Seeker, you can see your SBP status in your Profile page.

How do I enter into a contest?
You will be notified of any contest which matches your skill profile. You can submit your entry as attachments or write ups before the deadline. You can upload both a preview version and a full final version of your deliverables where the final one will only be released to the Seeker once the payment has been made. Our current setup is that the winner takes all the prize money and all top 3 placements receive Skill Based Points (SBP) as rewards.
